Folks ask all the time about "what I would do differently in the Strategies in Action videos if I was actually hunting" in those instances. My tongue-in-cheek [but honest] answer has always been "kill the bull!" But all joking aside, how would I draw my bow with the elk that close, and how would I go about making the shot on some of those animals? Well... buckle up, and let's dive in! In Part One, we go through a number of the Strategies in Action videos and discuss what I would do/when I would draw my bow on the bulls I "Call to My Toes!"The first behavioral principle covered is the "See You First" principle. In this video, Chris will briefly go over how elk communicate; the components of "See You First"; and not only how those components affect elk behavior, but how they should influence you and your hunting efforts.
